Egy amerikai kutatók által készített veszélyességi skálán az egészségügyi ellátás megelõzi a hegymászást, az autóvezetést, a légszennyezést, a repülést és az atomerőműveket. Csak az amerikai ellátórendszerben előforduló hibák miatt évente 44-88 ezerre becsülik a szakemberek a megelőzhetõ halálozások számát. Az uniós adatok is megerősítik az ilyen, s ehhez hasonló tanulmányokat. Az Európai Orvosok Állandó Bizottsága - elismerve, hogy a kórházakban történő egészségkárosodások fele elkerülhető ellátási hiba miatt fordul elő - közösségi megoldásokat sürgetett. Magyarországon az Egészségügyi Törvény rögzíti (119. szakasz 3. bekezdés), hogy az ellátás során érvényesülniük kell a szakmai szabályoknak. Az evidenciákon alapuló ellátási rendeket a szakmai protokollok rögzítik. Mindezek betartását folyamatos ellenőrzéssel biztosítja a most újjászerveződő (szerveződött) szakfelügyeleti hálózat. Az intézmények többségében működik minőségbiztosítási rendszer, amelynek részeként figyelik az ellátási hibákat is.
Mindazonáltal a napi munka során számos elméleti és gyakorlati kérdés vetődik fel a legjobb gyakorlattól (best practice) és minőségbiztosítási problémáktól kezdve a tévedések regisztrálásán és a tanulságok levonásán át egészen az ellenőrzésig és a nyilvánosság kérdéséig.
A rendezvényen és a rendezvénnyel lehetőséget kívánunk biztosítani ahhoz, hogy a témakör iránt érdeklődő szakemberek közvetlenül is információkat és tájékoztatást kapjanak ezekről a kérdésekről.

We want to get your attention to the Austrian Symposium on Dialysis Access and Central Venous Catheters which will take place for the 5th time in Vienna 5th-6th of December 2025.
It is an interdisciplinary, multiprofessional meeting where all dialysis-relevant stakeholders (nephrology, shunt surgery, dialysis care, radiology, patients, industry) meet. It is therefore an unprecedented opportunity to get to know state of the art treatment/diagnostic methods as well as innovations on this field.
After all 4 previous symposia were very well received with over 200 participants each, we have decided to continue organizing this meeting. This year, we also decided to open the symposium to more neighboring countries besides Germany, Italy and Switzerland to give more colleagues the opportunity to be part of this meeting as a multiprofessional access platform with excellent international speakers and many training programs. This is one of the very few meetings worldwide offering such masterclasses.

The proven concept of the 2-day conference will be retained: The scientific sessions with lectures by world-renowned experts will take place on the first day (05.12.2025) at the Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Vienna Schönbrunn. On the second day of the congress (December 6, 2025), we will offer several master classes/“hands-on” workshops on various topics, which will take place either in the congress hotel or at the Anatomical Institute of the Medical University of Vienna, as these are courses on human specimens.
To be in Vienna during the Advent season will be even more special due to our venue location next to Schönbrunn allowing visits at the beautiful Christmas market before or after the meeting.
Please be aware that most of the talks on the 1st day are in German (see program), but the workshops and masterclasses are mainly independent of language - based on their training/hands-on character and our international tutors.
Slots are limited on both days and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
We look forward to an exciting meeting!
