Tisztelt Kollégák, kedves Barátaink! Ismét elmúlt egy év, közelegnek az év végi ünnepek, a január és január végén a Szívelégtelenség Kongresszus, amit 2026. január 29-31. között rendezünk meg Szegeden. Az immár XVIII. alkalommal megrendezett Kongresszuson, a korábbiakhoz hasonlóan, sőt azokat is meghaladóan izgalmas témákkal várunk minden kedves érdeklődőt. Lesz szó az elmúlt év új szívelégtelenséggel kapcsolatos vizsgálatairól, az új irányelvek szívelégtelenséggel kapcsolatos aspektusairól. Ez elmúlt évben publikált ESC irányelvek közül kiemelten jelentős a szívelégtelenséggel foglalkozó szakemberek számára a Myocarditis és pericarditis irányelv, de sok találkozási pont van a szívelégtelenség ellátással a Várandósság és kardiovaszkuláris betegségek, a Valvuláris szívbetegségek és a Mentális egészség és kardiovaszkuláris betegségek irányelvben is. Ezen túlmenően érdekes szimpóziumok foglalkoznak majd a direkt miozin inhibitor terápia újdonságaival, a keringés támogató eszközökkel, az intervenciós kardiológia szívelégtelenség ellátásban betöltött szerepével, valamint a szívelégtelenségben alkalmazható rehabilitációs és tréning programokkal is. Debate szimpózium keretében vitatkozni fogunk a digitáliszok, illetve a vericiguat helyéről és szerepéről a szívelégtelen betegek kezelésében. Ismét megszervezzük a szakdolgozói szekciót és természetesen lesz HOT (heart failure specialist of tomorrow) szimpózium és esetbemutatások is. Az ez évi Kongresszus újdonsága lesz a 0. napon (január 28-án) megrendezésre kerülő Családorvosi szatellita szimpózium, amit a Szegedi Családorvosi Tanszékkel közösen szervezünk, s melynek keretében lehetőség nyílik arra, hogy a szívelégtelenség specialisták és a házi orvosok áttekintsék a szívelégtelenség ellátással kapcsolatos legfontosabb közös problémákat. A sok-sok érdekes program mellett a 2026. évi Kongresszus azért is kiemelkedő jelentőségű, mert három év után leköszön a Munkacsoport kiváló munkát végző jelenlegi elnöke és vezetősége és megválasztásra kerül az új vezetőség. Találkozzunk 2026. január utolsó napjaiban Szegeden, a gyönyörű Tisza-parti városban, ami télen is csodálatos és töltsünk együtt három szakmai programokban, személyes találkozásokban, baráti beszélgetésekben gazdag napot. Mindenkit szeretettel várunk!!! WELCOMING ADDRESS BY THE EDF PRESIDENT Dear EDF Members Dear Corporate supporting Members Dear Guests On behalf of the EDF Board, I am delighted to welcome you to the 29th EDF Annual Meeting. We are looking forward to spending 3 days in a convival atmosphere supporting education, scientific exchange and collaboration. This EDF Annual Meeting takes place each January in Switzerland and is designed to address several of the significant issues impacting dermato-venereology and ranging from clinical, scientific to political matters. In January 2026, we will again meet in Montreux, a traditional spa town nestled among steep hills on the shores of Lake Geneva. The town is known for its mild microclimate and the Montreux Jazz Festival in July. Magnificent Belle Époque buildings line the waterfront surrounded by sculptures and Mediterranean trees. The medieval Chillon Castle is located on an island offshore. The moated castle includes ramparts, reception halls and a chapel with 14th-century murals. In 2026, the EDF Annual Meeting will be held again at the Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic, a 4-star hotel in the style of the Belle Époque situated at the heart of Montreux, directly on the banks of Lake Geneva. At the main meeting we will discuss and debate a wide range of current dermatology and venereology topics. The EDF Board has put together an exceptional program based on scientific and medical excellence with plenary talks, two interactive sessions as well as updates from our commission groups and sister societies, whilst at the same time being mindful of diversity, gender and geographical balance.
