The 11th International Symposium on Cell/Tissue Injury and Cytoprotection/ Organoprotection (ISCTICO), joint meeting of the Hungarian Society for Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology (HUPHAR) and IUPHAR GI Section will be hosted by the University of Pécs, Hungary, between October 7-10, 2020 in the Episcopal Granary Visitor Center in Pécs, Hungary.
Venue: Dóm Square 6, H-7621, Pécs, Hungary
It is not easy to plan in the current situation caused by the COVID-19, but we hope that this difficult time will be over by Autumn, and we will meet at the conference.
We are aware of the travel restrictions and understand that some of you might be hesitant to register, therefore the deadline for the payment of the early bird registration fee, and abstract submission has been extended until July 6, 2020.
We would like to inform you that the preparations of the conference are going on as originally planned. We make efforts to organize excellent scientific and social program and would like to welcome you all in Pécs.

Az epidemiológiai adatok alapján a koronavírus-járvány második hulláma zajlik. A kialakult helyzet miatt a MIT Vezetősége azt a döntést hozta, hogy a Konferenciát idén online formában fogjuk lebonyolítani.

Az online Konferencia részvételi díja nem MIT tagok részére 18 000 Ft, MIT tagok részére 15 000 Ft (az árak az ÁFÁ-t már tartalmazzák).

We want to get your attention to the Austrian Symposium on Dialysis Access and Central Venous Catheters which will take place for the 5th time in Vienna 5th-6th of December 2025.
It is an interdisciplinary, multiprofessional meeting where all dialysis-relevant stakeholders (nephrology, shunt surgery, dialysis care, radiology, patients, industry) meet. It is therefore an unprecedented opportunity to get to know state of the art treatment/diagnostic methods as well as innovations on this field.
After all 4 previous symposia were very well received with over 200 participants each, we have decided to continue organizing this meeting. This year, we also decided to open the symposium to more neighboring countries besides Germany, Italy and Switzerland to give more colleagues the opportunity to be part of this meeting as a multiprofessional access platform with excellent international speakers and many training programs. This is one of the very few meetings worldwide offering such masterclasses.

The proven concept of the 2-day conference will be retained: The scientific sessions with lectures by world-renowned experts will take place on the first day (05.12.2025) at the Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Vienna Schönbrunn. On the second day of the congress (December 6, 2025), we will offer several master classes/“hands-on” workshops on various topics, which will take place either in the congress hotel or at the Anatomical Institute of the Medical University of Vienna, as these are courses on human specimens.
To be in Vienna during the Advent season will be even more special due to our venue location next to Schönbrunn allowing visits at the beautiful Christmas market before or after the meeting.
Please be aware that most of the talks on the 1st day are in German (see program), but the workshops and masterclasses are mainly independent of language - based on their training/hands-on character and our international tutors.
Slots are limited on both days and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
We look forward to an exciting meeting!
