2014. április 12. napján szombaton 11 órakor a fiumei úti Nemzeti Sirkert Panteonjában Korányi Sándor sírjánál megemlékezést tartunk.
A megemlékezésen beszédek hangzanak el a Magyar Nephrologiai Társaság (MANET) nevében ("Korányi Sándor a nephrologus"), illetve a Korányi Társaság nevében ("Korányi Sándor a belgyógyász").
A megemlékezésre mindenkit szeretettel várunk!
A megemlékezést a Magyar Nephrologiai Társaság (MANET) kezdeményezte azzal a céllal, hogy hagyományt teremtsenek, és Korányi Sándor halálának évfordulóján minden évben megtartsák a Magyar Nephrológia Emléknapját.
„Ezért vagyunk mi most itt valamennyien, hogy hódoljunk Korányi Sándor, a kiváló orvos és nagyszerű ember emlékének.”

TISZTELT KOLLÉGÁK!
Az allergiás betegségek egyidősek az emberiséggel, előtérbe kerülésüket (egyetemi oktatásban történő megjelenés, szakorvos képzés) az allergiás betegek számának robbanásszerû emelkedése magyarázza. A betegszám rohamos növekedése az elmúlt évtizedekben a civilizáció fejlődéséhez köthető, összefüggésbe hozható számos új, az immunválaszt befolyásoló szennyező és allergizáló anyag környezeti megjelenésével. Az allergiás, atópiás immunválasz alapja genetikai diszpozíció, a civilizációs hatásként napi expozícióba kerülő, korábban csak elvétve használt kémiai vegyületek (pl. fémek, növényi anyagok, illatok) napjainkra a leggyakoribb allergénekké váltak.
A globális környezetszennyezés nem csak a humán, hanem a növényi biológiai folyamatra is hat, befolyásolva többek között a pollenek morfológiáját és immunrendszerünkre való hatását is. Az allergiás megbetegedések a gazdaságilag fejlett országok lakosságának közel egyharmadát érinti. Hazai vonatkozásban is hasonló arány tapasztalható az asthmás esetek és a rhinitises valamint a kontakt ekzemában, urticariában szenvedő betegek számának folyamatos növekedésével.A gyógyszer és az élelmiszer allergiás esetek gyakoriságának látványos halmozódása szintén jellemző hazai adat.
A kórképek kivizsgálását segítő diagnosztikai lehetőségek tárháza az utóbbi években egyre bővült. Segítségükkel feltárhatók és igazolhatók a különféle allergiás tüneteket provokáló anyagok, ezen metodikák a differenciál diagnosztikus vizsgálatokat is lehetővé teszik, és ezzel a legfontosabb terápia, a prevenció lehetőségét is megteremtik.
A részben környezeti ártalom eredményeként jelentkező allergia mára multidiszciplináris betegséggé vált. A legtöbb allergén számos szervet érintő tünetcsoportot provokál, alkalmanként egy-egy tünet együttes dominanciájával . Az orvosi ellátásban így az allergiás tünetek, tünet együttesek nem csak a bőrgyógyászati gyakorlatban jelentkeznek, növekvő gyakoriságuk a napi betegellátás szintjén a medicinát mûvelő minden kollégát érint. A terápiás feladatok megoldására az összes szakma "gyakorlati allergológiai" ellátási protokollja kialakult. Erre a gyakorlatra alapozva, az orvostudomány több szakágának (gyermekgyógyászat, bőrgyógyászat, pulmonológia, belgyógyászat, fül-orr-gégészet, szemészet, klinikaiallergológia-immunológia) tapasztalatait összegezve állítottuk össze nemzetközileg elismert szakemberek tudására alapozva a továbbképző tanfolyam anyagát , célozva az allergiás betegek kivizsgálásának és ellátásának minden szinten történő javítását.

Minimally Invasive Thyroid Treatments (MITT) are increasingly applied in the clinical practice all over Europe for the treatment for benign and malignant thyroid diseases.
The MITT group has been founded in 2018 in Italy, to promote multidisciplinary partnership among physicians with different expertise who share the interest in MITT and to improve the clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic management of benign and malignant thyroid and parathyroid glands diseases.
During the 2024 MITT meeting, the present guidelines on both benign and malignant thyroid disease management will be presented, and the most widely used techniques for ablation will be presented by renowned experts in the field. Also, the most updated evidence on the application of MITT in benign thyroid nodules, autonomously functioning thyroid nodules, and malignant tumours will be illustrated.
Furthermore, a series of real-life clinical cases will be presented and discussed between the expert panel and the participants.
During the second day, the organization of a thyroid ablation clinical practice will be discussed, with particular focus on preoperative and postoperative patients’ management, possible type of anaesthesia, with the discussion of a video-recorded treatment.
In the end, a series of “hot topics” on minimally invasive treatments of the thyroid will be presented and discussed with the participants, including treatment of parathyroid adenomas, complications of MITT and their management, and the problem of nodule regrowth.
Hands-on workshops will also be available at the end of the meeting for those who will want to try the different available technologies and techniques on dedicated phantoms.
