A Magyar Obezitológiai és Mozgásterápiás Társaság, csatlakozva az európai elhízás elleni naphoz, 2015. május 22-én pénteken délelőtt 9-13 óráig „FOGJUNK ÖSSZE, MOMOT-tal AZ ELHÍZÁS ELLEN” címmel, a Szent Imre Egyetemi Oktatókórházban a Prof. Dr. Bedros J. Róbert vezetésével működő Országos Obezitológiai Centrum, valamint a hazai Obezitológus Hálózat és az egészségügyi intézmények bevonásával Országos Szűrőnapot szervez a lakosság számára.
A központi rendezvény helyszíne a Szent Imre Egyetemi Oktatókórház (XI. Budapest, Tétényi út 12-16.) „K” épület földszintje.
A rendezvény valamennyi helyszínén ingyenes szűrővizsgálatokat végeznek, többek között az elhízás és kísérőbetegségek területén (testzsír, koleszterin, vérnyomás és vércukor meghatározás), valamint előadásokra, orvosi és diétás tanácsadásokra kerül sor.
Az Országos Szűrőnap megrendezésével célunk az, hogy motiváljuk és támogassuk a túlsúlyos embereket abban, hogy megtegyék azokat az életmódbeli változtatásokat, amellyel fenntarthatják az egészséges testsúlyukat és ezzel javítsák életminőségüket, élettartamukat.
