Tisztelt Asszonyom/ Uram!
A Semmelweis Egyetem Családorvosi Tanszéke szakmai támogatása mellett 2009. szeptember 15-én megkezdte működését a Dohányzásról Leszokást Támogató Központ Budapesten.
A dohányzásról való leszokás támogatása az egyik legfontosabb és leghatékonyabb eszköz az egyén és a népesség egészségének megőrzésében és a társadalmi betegségterhek csökkentésében.
A Központ célja a dohányzásról való leszokás támogatásában ismert és innovatív magatartás-orvoslási módszerek széleskörű alkalmazása és elterjesztése hazánkban, valamint a dohányzással kapcsolatos tudományos tudásközpont létrehozása. A központ szolgáltatásait egy alapítványi támogatásnak köszönhetően térítémentesen nyújtja.
2010. május 26-án szakmai nyílt napot szervezünk a Központban, ahol lehetőség nyílik az ott folyó munka, a tanácsadás részleteinek illetve az első eredmények megismerésére. Szeretnénk bemutatni az együttműködés, a dohányzás elleni küzdelemben való részvétel további lehetőségeit is. A részletes program a mellékletben olvasható.
A Központ pályázatot hirdetett meg figyelemfelkeltő, a dohányosokat megszólító plakátokra képzőművész hallgatóknak. A pályázat kiírásában a dohányzásról leszokás előnyeinek/nyereségének valamint a Központ segítő attitűdjének kellett tükröződnie, azt szeretnénk kifejezni, hogy van segítség a leszokásban. A beérkező pályázatokból harmincat állítunk ki a DLTK-ban, ezek azok a plakátok, amelyeket terveink szerint a jövőben kihelyezünk orvosi rendelőkben. Örömmel látjuk a plakátok bemutatásával együtt tartandó rövid beszélgetésen és a díjátadáson is.

A "Csont-ízületi Betegségek Korai Felismeréséért Alapítvány" pályázatot hirdet kongresszusi részvétel részleges (részvételi díj) vagy teljes (részvételi díj + hotel) támogatására.
Pályázhatnak radiológus rezidensek, szakorvosjelöltek és szakorvosok , akik máshonnan támogatást nem kapnak és előadást jelentenek be.

Following the 2006 meeting in Beijing we invite colleagues interested in the pathophysiology of diseases to join us for the 6th International Congress, which will be held in Montréal, Canada from September 22 to 25, 2010, under the banner “Gene-environment interaction in health and disease ”. The Congress program will reflect current trends in the evolution of pathophysiology and biological science in general, while further enlarging the scope of our meeting to cover progress from Genomics to Systems Biology, integrating both our genetic make-up and environmental exposures resulting in shared and distinct pathophysiological pathways. We also plan to present novel therapeutic targets based on this new knowledge, future tools in prevention and optimized therapy based on predictive genomics.
The new Congress dates, in September 2010, allow us to capitalize on our partnership with the 14th International SHR Symposium. Entitled “Ecogenomic models of Cardiometabolic Diseases ”. Organized by researchers in the field of cardiovascular genetics, this is a Satellite Symposium to the 23rd scientific meeting of the International Society of Hypertension to be held in Vancouver the following week
