A téma kiemelkedő jelentőségét az adja, hogy az egyre gyakoribb vastag- és végbél daganatok ellátása mind nagyobb feladatot jelent. Ugyanakkor ez az a daganatos betegcsoport, amelynél megfelelő kezeléssel jelentősen kedvezőbb túlélést érhetünk el. Az elmúlt években az onkológia fejlődése mellett, azzal párhuzamosan, változott és fejlődött a sebészeti ellátás is. A laparoscopia térnyerése, a neoadjuvans kezelés általánossá válása (hogy csak két példát említsünk) új gondolkodásmódot igényel, de új problémákat és szövődmény lehetőségeket is generál. Mi történjék például a neoadjuvans kemo-radioterápiát követően teljes klinikai remissziót mutató betegekkel?
Átfogó képet kívánunk adni a colorectalis carcinomában szenvedő betegek kezeléséről. Az elméleti előadások mellett élő műtéti bemutatóval illusztráljuk a sebészi kezelés fő lépéseit.
Tudományos fórumunkra nagy szeretettel hívjuk és várjuk a téma iránt érdeklődő sebész kollégák mellett a CRC diagnosztikájában és kezelésében résztvevő radiológus, pathológus, gastroenterológus, onkológus kollégákat is.
