A Magyar Relaxációs és Szimbólumterápiás Egyesület 2010. július 8–10 között tartja V. Nemzetközi Kongresszusát a Károli Gáspár Református Egyetem Pszichológiai Tanszéke termeiben (1037 Budapest, III. kerület, Bécsi út 324.) A kongresszus alaptémája: Személyes épülés a köz javára -a relaxációs és szimbólumterápiák lehetőségeinek kiteljesítése és a jövő iránti felelőssége.

A témaválasztás alapgondolata:
Korunkban a személyes problematikát felülírja ill. felerősíti a kollektív tudat zavara, értékválsága, irányvesztése, támpontnélkülisége, periférikussága, differenciálatlansága - és nem tud ellensúlyt létrehozni a kollektív tudattalan betörésével és elsodró erejével szemben. Fontos lenne, hogy a pszichoterápiás munka során nagyobb figyelmet fordítsunk a kollektív tudat beáramlása és befolyása felismerésére, hogy a személy belső világa kellő önvédelemhez jusson, meglelje, megtartsa, kibontakoztassa, de legalábbis megtarthassa önmagát.
Az Egyesület már több szálon hozzákezdett a közösségi – kollektív tudat és a személyes létezés különféle jelenségeinek kutatásához. A kongresszusig mindnyájunk számára elegendő idő van kutatást elkezdeni és véghezvinni, amiknek az eredményeit szeretnénk a kongresszuson bemutatni.

A kongresszushoz csatlakozó külföldi társaságok:

• Asociatia Românā de Psihoterapie prin Relaxare, Simboluri (ARPRS)
