1984-ben és 86’-ban Carl Rogers, a kiemelkedő amerikai humanisztikus pszichológus munkatársai közreműködésével tartott nemzetközi összejövetelt Szegeden, „Kultúrák közötti kommunikáció kreatív megközelítései” címmel.
Ez a találkozó sok résztvevő (pedagógusok, pszichológusok, vállalatvezetők, diákok, orvosok) életében sorsfordító volt: megérezhették a szabadság lelkesítő ízét és az ezzel együtt járó felelősséget egyaránt.
2009-ben, a Rogers által tartott találkozó 25. évfordulóján ugyanazon a helyszínen újra megrendezésre került a találkozó. A résztvevők és szervezők kifejezték együttes szándékukat, hogy az eseményből hagyomány váljék.
A külföldi és hazai facilitátorok segítségével megtartandó összejövetel elsősorban tapasztalati tanulásra nyújt lehetőséget. Az egy hetes csoportélmény egyedülálló lehetőséget biztosít arra, hogy pedagógusok, pszichológusok, szociális munkások – és minden segítő foglalkozású szakember vagy gyakorló szülő – tapasztalatokat szerezhessen a személyközpontú csoportfolyamatokkal kapcsolatban, és közösen elgondolkozhassanak arról, hogy kik is vagyunk, és mi a szerepünk ma, a 21. században.
Az eseményre várnak facilitátorokat és témacsoport-vezetőket egyaránt.
