A SZAB Hypertonia és Nephrologiai Munkabizottsága nephrológiai klinikopathológiai esetbemutatást szervez, melyre tisztelettel meghívjuk.
Két esetet szeretnénk prezentálni: Egy 58 éves inzulinnal kezelt, diabeteses retinopathiás cukorbeteg férfi esetét, akinek egy lázas állapot, antibiotikus kezelés után egy hónap alatt beszűkült a vesefunkciója (haematuria, proteinuria nem társult) és egy 48 éves férfi esetét, akinek hyperthyreosis miatt indult kivizsgálása, és utóbb nephrosis syndroma igazolódott.

W1 Giving evidence to the Tribunal - science or art?
This is an interactive skills workshop on giving evidence. The three presenters will give advice on the evidence required by the tribunal panel focussing on the legal criteria (led by Judge), presenting risk information and appropriate treatment.
Delegates will leave with a clearer understanding of how to be a competent medical witness at a mental health tribunal.

S7 Mental Health Informatics: health records, apps and priorities for the future
The first part of the session will cover the implementation of e-health projects such as Care.Data and its implications for research, service development and confidentiality.
The second part of the session will cover Mental Health apps and their use in clinical settings and by patients.
The third part of the session will cover recent developments in mental health informatics and priorities for the future.
W6 Cardiac assessment and QTc monitoring in mental health patients, principles and competencies
This workshop aims to look at management of cardiac risk in psychiatric patients. It will focus on identifying risk factors and relevant investigations including interpretation of the QT measurements on the ECG.

S41 Terrorism in the 21st Century: a new world without boundaries
The learning objectives of this session are:
- To learn about the varied factors which may lead some individuals to become terrorists
- To learn about how to frame and develop responses to prevent the recruitment of terrorists
- To learn how to frame and develop response to prevent individuals who have fought in Wars away from their home country in acting as terrorists in their home country.
