We are honored to have Dr. Ségolène Aymé, as our special guest speaker at this event. She is Emeritus Director of Research at the French Medical Research Council (INSERM) and the founder of Orphanet.
In 2008, Dr. Segolene Aymé co-authored a journal article entitled, Empowerment of patients: lessons from the rare diseases community. Reflecting on this essay, Dr. Aymé will speak about the power of patients and patient organizations with regards to the Rare Disease Community. She will share her unique perspective and talk about her important work with Orphanet and Expert centers.

The 19th Immunology Winter School on Basic Immunology Research in Allergy and Clinical Immunology will take place from 22 to 24 January 2021, in a digital format. With an innovative but still highly interactive concept, the meeting will allow you to take part in exciting scientific discussions from the safety of your home countries.
Abstract submission deadline is 21 October, 2020 23:59 CET.
• Only one abstract per applicant can be submitted.
• Applicants should submit novel abstracts. No replication of previous Winter School abstracts (whole or in part) will be accepted.
Target Audience
This meeting is intended for young scientists (PhD students and junior postdocs) and medical doctors from around the world, who are actively involved in the field of allergy, asthma and clinical immunology.
Educational Aims
The goal of this meeting is to discuss advanced and up-to-date allergy and asthma related basic immunological research with 70 young scientists in a friendly scientific environment.
Expected Outcome and Potential Impact on Practice After this Winter School
Participants will receive state of the art training on immunological mechanisms, involved in allergic and inflammatory responses. In addition, the highly interactive nature of the winter school provides a platform for establishing new collaborations and networks. By attending this winter school, the participants will:
Learn about novel developments in immunology with a focus on allergy, asthma and clinical immunology
Gain knowledge of other immunology research areas in allergy performed by other young investigators/research groups within EAACI
Present and discuss their work and get feedback from experts in the field
Form research networks with other researchers
Young investigators will be able to interact with senior experienced researchers

On behalf of the Association of Korean Dermatologists, it is my great pleasure and honor to invite you to Korea Derma 2020 Online, which will be held during December 17-19, 2020. This year, with the ongoing development of the pandemic and with the health and wellbeing of all participants on the top priority, we decided to hold the symposium as a virtual meeting. I truly regret that we cannot have the opportunity to meet in person, but believe that Korea Derma 2020 Online will still provide you with inspiring viewpoints and a paradigm shift on aesthetic dermatology that will broaden your professional horizons.
With distinguished faculty speakers from around the world and prominent Korean dermatologic experts on top of the state-of-the-art information technology of Korea, we will thoroughly investigate a variety of subjects related to K-beauty medical technology, including: pigmented lesions treatments, vascular treatments, acne and rosacea treatment, hair treatments, botulinum toxin, skin boosters & filler treatments, scar treatments, skin rejuvenation, thread lifting, acne, drug delivery, vitiligo, atopic dermatitis and more.
We will also discuss rising concerns in the field of aesthetic dermatology.
Another distinct feature of Korea Derma 2020 Online is the ‘Live Talk with Experts’ which will also proceed as a virtual event. Through a virtual tour, participants will have the opportunity to experience K-beauty treatments in details and learn know-how from leading Korean dermatologists.
Korea Derma 2019 was an exceptional success with more than 2,000 attendees including 700 foreign attendees. At Korea Derma 2020 Online, we would like to continue with more fruitful programs that will benefit all participants.
