Mit rejt a Kékszakállú herceg vára?
A Kékszakáll-mítosz klasszikus és modern értelmezése
Beharangozó:
A Kékszakállú története számos művészt, írót, zeneszerzőt, rendezőt, koreográfust és képzőművészt megihletett. A feldolgozásokban mindig benne volt/van a kor szelleme, az adott időszak társadalmi és nemi szerepekről alkotott felfogása, és nem utolsó sorban az alkotó(k) személyisége. Előadásomban elsősorban a Balázs Béla szövegkönyvére írott Bartók Béla-operát elemzem részletesen, a két művész életútjának, jellemének és a nőkhöz való viszonyának tükrében. A két alkotó személyisége a források alapján jelentősen eltért egymástól. A Kékszakállúban mindketten benne vannak, és ott van mellettük Judit, aki akár képviselheti a szerzők feminin részét, de megtestesítheti az általuk elképzelt „tipikus nőt” is.
Természetesen, ahogy fentebb említettem, a korszellem sem marad ki az operából – a múlt század elején mind a művészetekben, mind a társadalmi-politikai berendezkedésben is jelentős változások történtek egész Európában. A mű témája azonban kortalan: létezhet-e harmonikus, egyenrangú, szeretetteljes párkapcsolat?
