A Magyar Gyermekorvosok Társasága fennállásának 100. évfordulója alkalmából centenáriumi programsorozatot szervez "Szívvel-lélekkel, tudománnyal" címmel. Ennek részeként pódiumbeszélgetéseket tart, amelyek alkalmával a hazai gyermekgyógyászat fejlődésének rögös útjáról, sorsfordító éveiről, mérföldköveiről tudhat meg többet a közönség a szakma kiválóságaitól. A meghívott jeles gyermekgyógyászok tartalmas életpályájukról és izgalmas szamai tapasztalataikról is mesélnek.

A szokásos évi közgyűlés időpontja március 5., színhelye a Budapest Szálló.
Mindenképpen fontos lenni a tagság megjelenése, tekintettel arra, hogy a vezetőség fontosnak tartja az alapszabály módosítását több ponton. Az utolsó frissítés 1997-ben történt. Az azóta eltelt csaknem egy évtized számos ponton elavulttá, túlhaladottá, hiányossá tette alapszabályunkat, mely gyakran igen komoly mértékben hátráltatta a vezetőség munkáját, de a tagok jogainak érvényesítését is.
Az alapszabály módosításához a tagok 50%-ának + 1 főnek, azaz jelenleg 84 főnek az egyetértő igen szavazata szükséges. (Vagyis nem a jelenlévőké!). Nagyon fontos a megfelelő jelenléti szám, ezért kérünk mindenkit, jelenjen meg a közgyűlésen. Külön pontban kívánunk foglalkozni majd etikai ügyekkel is, melyek száma az utóbbi időben sajnálatos módon megszaporodott, és az előző közgyűlésen is nagy vihart kavartak.
Tervezünk továbbá a közgyűlést követő ebéd után egy érdekesnek ígérkező fórumot is. A pontos programot 2-3 hét múlva postázzuk, de már most kérünk mindenkit jegyezze be előjegyzési naptárába a közgyűlés időpontját.

Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to the 14th Central European Congress of Rheumatology.
After eighteen years, this traditional biannual congress is going to be, for the second time, hosted by the Slovenian Medical Association – Section of Rheumatology. In keeping with the tradition of the CECR, the rheumatologists from the member countries and distinguished international speakers are going to present and discuss their research and clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatologic conditions. The clinically based sessions are going to focus on burning topics chosen by the member scientific societies.
For the first time in the CECR’s history, there will be a dedicated pediatric rheumatology session, a session dedicated to transition of patients from pediatric to adult rheumatologists, and an opportunity for patient organizations to take part. This time, the meeting will be held at Cankarjev dom in the centre of the lovely Christmassy Slovenian capital Ljubljana. Cankarjev dom is a cultural and congress centre named after one of the greatest Slovenian novelists and overlooks the national Parliament.
Alongside the thought-provoking scientific program, we will certainly find time for exchanging views and ideas, successful local practices as well as socializing, strengthening friendships and strategizing further optimization of the delivery of care to our patients in the Central Europe.
